Link development has always been our main draw for clients. Link dev has changed so much over the past few years yet we continue to do things just as we did when we started in 2007. We use email outreach as our main approach and our conversion rate is around 15%, so we (and our clients) are happy to keep doing things as we’ve been doing them. We don’t use any automated tools for link discovery as all outreach is strictly manual with our link team searching the web for relevant link partners. We don’t do any competitor mining, either, as we have no desire to recreate someone else’s link profile since no two sites are the same. We are happy to work with brands both large and small.
All our clients are covered by our company-wide NDA so we never reveal the brands that we work with. Most of the clients that we work with come in as referrals. We began our agency with the desire to protect our clients and not need to rely on throwing out names in order to win business.
Every client starts out with an initial test run. If we don’t get the links, you don’t pay. We don’t lock you into long contracts and are able to switch our focus whenever clients like. Instead of giving you examples of client work, we let you be the judge as to how effective our work is.

Our philosophy is that using actual humans (and not automated software) is the key to a balanced link profile. While our methods for obtaining links are tedious, we are able to form a good relationship with our targeted webmasters. This results in better links. While we don’t think that anything in marketing is truly 100% safe, we do take every precautionary measure to get links that are as safe as possible, and human review is key. Every single one of our links is built by a link builder with a minimum of one year’s training, and every single one is personally vetted by management before going out the door.

We have experience building links for clients in the following industries: legal, healthcare, ecommerce, gaming, printing, realty, insurance, medical, security, beauty, finance, branding, DIY, education, pharmaceuticals, computer software, and project management systems. No two industries are the same of course, but even if we have previously worked with an industry before, we still approach it as a completely new experience since no two clients and sites are the same.
Every link building project begins with a brainstorming team meeting using information given to us by the client so that we can all start to come up with ideas for discovery and content creation. This brainstorming period is critical for the team and we repeat the sessions as needed throughout the course of the campaigns so that everyone stays focused and excited. The team also regularly meets in order to discuss potential obstacles and figure out ways to get around them, so even if we’re not talking about a particular client, every client will benefit from these meetings.
Each link that we build is priced per unit and is reported to the client
Each link that we build is priced per unit and is reported to the client. While that sounds standard for any link development company, sadly it is not. Some links are very difficult to measure as they can happen well after a social media push, for example, so in cases where we use social media in this manner, we might not report each link but our typical link work does involve simply using manual outreach and negotiating links via email. We report any costs associated with each link along with its URL, the anchor used, the date it went live, and any other desired metrics such as homepage PageRank or linking page PageRank.
